Movie Trailers Made Easy

I’m considering having my beginning video students create movie trailers for moving that don’t yet exist.  So many of them are interested in creating what they call “epic movies” that I think an assignment like this will allow them to get a sense for the process without needing an insane budget.  One of my students last term created a trailer for a series that he was planning on shooting called Joey Vs. The Eagle.  The series hasn’t yet happened but the trailer is top notch.

In preparation for the unit, I’ve been doing a bit of searching for excellent trailer examples.  A colleague of mine sent me the attached video today.  I nearly fell out of my chair watching it.  It’s been calle “The Trailer For Every Oscar-Winning Movie Ever.  Take a look.
