Online Video Tutorials in the Studio

One of my colleagues, Jeff Dietrich, does an amazing job of using online video tutorials to supplement direct instruction for his computer tech classes.  He uses a screencast software to record himself demonstrating various techniques for MS Word, Photoshop, Publisher, etc.  The videos that he creates are concise (typically 3-5 minutes) and extremely helpful for students who either miss a class, need a refresher, or are working ahead at their own pace.

Since the students seem to benefit from it so much, I decided I’d go ahead and create a few video tutorials for the video production unit.  Since I have a studio (with a green screen) at my disposal, I figured I’d use a slightly different model.
