Raley Field Promo – Student Video Contest

Some of my video production students had the chance to head to Raley Field (home of the minor league River Cats) a few weeks ago and have a behind the scenes look at the ball club.  This was part of a video contest put on by a local youth video organization.  Students groups could pick anything inside the River Cats corporation to use as a focus for their competitive 2 – 5 minute video.  My students chose to take a look at the stadium security.  They were able to get an interview with the head of security and one of the players.  They shot some excellent footage and put together a nice looking piece.  Each of the contestants puts their video up on youtube and the viewers choice award will go to the video with the highest number of views by May 16th.  I’m not saying that you should at home all day and watch this video a few hundred times but I do have a few students who wouldn’t disappointed if you did.
